Yesterday we’ve discovered a song from a band that everybody should know about. The song is called “Hello silence” and the band´s name is Coyote Island.

Coyote Island is the musical vision of Mike O’Hehir, a multi instrumentalist and songwriter from Maine. After writing folk songs for many years, Mike decided to explore genres and gravitated toward more uplifting and playful sounds. Combining folk, reggae and pop- Coyote Island creates a unique sound. Based in Maine, O’Hehir works with producer Nic Coolidge and is accompanied by long time friend and drummer, Brendan Shea.
Since June, Coyote Island has released 4 singles with Humble Angel Records, which are available on all streaming platforms. Look for more songs coming out starting in the new year and hopefully some tour dates in late 2021.
“ As a singer/songwriter coming from a background in folk music, I felt the calling to expand as an artist and performer. I wanted to make music more uplifting and accessible to larger audiences. I always loved reggae and latin rhythms, as well as soul and blues music. My influences combined with a knack for improvisation has largely attributed to my sound.”
Coyote Island es la visión musical de Mike O’Hehir, un multi instrumentista y compositor de Maine. Después de escribir canciones populares durante muchos años, Mike decidió explorar géneros y gravitó hacia sonidos más estimulantes y divertidos.
