We are three Munich based guys that have been making music together for many years in different projects. It all started with busking. For the past 10 years – whenever we find some spare time – we have been traveling through Europe (Germany, Italy, France, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania…) and just busk anywhere we like. What we love most about playing our music in the streets is the immediate connection with the audience, the gathering of many different people and the spontaneous jamming with other musicians. You just never know where you will end up or what the rest of the night will look like. Our actual musical roots are punk rock and alternative rock. Together with two other friends we also form the Munich based punk band “Dolly Pasta”.
All these experiences and backgrounds are reflected in a certain way in our songwriting, the musical realization as well as in our lyrics.
Actually, we never intended to record a “Naggerd “album, as we really appreciate the spontaneity and chaos of our live gigs. Nevertheless, we decided to record some of our songs in the summer of 2020, making sure it captured the feelings of street music and the dynamics of a live performance. We therefore decided to record live together with simple instrumentation. One cajon, two guitars and three-part vocals – this is Naggerd
Somos tres chicos de Munich que hemos estado haciendo música juntos durante muchos años en diferentes proyectos. Todo comenzó con la música callejera. Durante los últimos 10 años, siempre que tenemos algo de tiempo libre, hemos estado viajando por Europa (Alemania, Italia, Francia, Eslovenia, Croacia, Albania …) y simplemente tocábamos donde queríamos. Lo que más amamos de tocar nuestra música en las calles es la conexión inmediata con la audiencia, la reunión de muchas personas diferentes y la improvisación espontánea con otros músicos. Nunca se sabe dónde acabará o cómo será el resto de la noche. Nuestras raíces musicales actuales son el punk rock y el rock alternativo. Junto con otros dos amigos también formamos la banda punk con base en Munich “Dolly Pasta”.
Todas estas experiencias y antecedentes se reflejan de cierta manera en nuestra composición, la realización musical así como en nuestras letras.
De hecho, nunca tuvimos la intención de grabar un álbum de “Naggerd”, ya que realmente apreciamos la espontaneidad y el caos de nuestros conciertos en vivo. Sin embargo, decidimos grabar algunas de nuestras canciones en el verano de 2020, asegurándonos de que capturaran los sentimientos de la música callejera y la dinámica de una actuación en vivo. Por lo tanto, decidimos grabar en vivo juntos con instrumentación simple. Un cajón, dos guitarras y tres voces: esto es Naggerd
